What We Did In March 2020
March 2020 was an unusual month for most of us, including Community Cats United, Inc. (Trap-Neuter-Return Community), because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Many stay-at-home orders were issued in the United States and worldwide. Spay/neuter clinics suspended surgeries at a time when kitten season is starting. This is stressful for many TNR trappers but please remember that the sooner we can get this under control, the sooner the clinics can re-open. Vets and staff are at risk too. And veterinary practices are losing revenue from the hold on elective and spay/neuter surgeries. We are all in this together. Please do your part so we can get back to fixing our cats sooner rather than later!
In the first quarter of 2020, ending March 31, Community Cats United, Inc's state groups added a whooping 686 new members! Michigan and New Jersey have over 600 state members each! We now have over 6,700 members total in our state groups! This is all awesome news.
Our Fixfinder low cost spay/neuter database roll out has been temporarily
put on hold but we continue to add new clinics daily!
So, while many of us are staying home and inside for now, let's spread the word of Trap-Neuter-Return Community, our state groups and our Fixfinder database! Together we can grow our Community and add to our Strength in Numbers! Great achievements for our community cats and companion animals!
